Feature Film · In Development
In the winter of 1916, during the Russian occupation of Mahabad in the midst of World War I, Mamand, a doctor who assists missionaries, struggles to protect his family and community from the violence and devastation of war while treating the wounded.
The city is engulfed in smoke. Bodies lie in the streets, while gunshots and screams echo throughout the town. Carrying his old leather medical bag, Mamand makes his way to the home of his friend Jonathan, determined to help the wounded and displaced. At the same time, he is condemned by his own people for being forced to cooperate with the Russian authorities.
Back home, his wife Zara and their teenage daughter Mapre confront a Russian soldier who attacks their home. In an act of resistance, they kill him.
When Mamand returns and discovers what has happened, he puts on the dead soldier’s uniform and hides his body. Driven by grief and a desire for revenge, he sets out to confront the Russian soldiers.

Documentary · In Development
A century-old diary, a forgotten genocide, and a Polish-American nurse who becomes the voice of a silenced nation. This film uses collage animation to reconstruct the fragments of a 1916 massacre, proving that witnessing is the ultimate act of resistance against historical erasure.
